Hi there, welcome to my portefolio!
My name is Dina Norlund and I am an illustrator and character designer from Norway. Most of my career has been focused on design, so when I illustrate I apply what I know of designing and problem solving that I learned as a concept artist. I'm inspired by nature, magic and kids' imagination. I often draw on stories from my own childhood memories when creating my projects and books.
I work primarily in Procreate on an iPad Pro 12.9” (2020) with a 2nd gen Apple Pencil. But I also enjoy experimenting with pencil, pen and watercolor. My work is suited mainly for illustration (both editorial and other) Children's books and concept art for stylized projects. I also do comic work for short stories.
